had some leftover egg whites after trying out a vanilla ice cream made with real vanilla pods instead of vanilla essence.
whipped the egg whites till foamy and then added in 50g of white granulated sugar.
whipped further till soft peaks and glossy and then added in a teaspoon of cornstarch.
whipped till stiff peaks.
used a piping bag to pipe into desired shapes and sizes.
thrown into a 100 degree Celcius oven and left to bake for an hour till lightly browned and insides are not soft. may take more than an hour if it's a large and thick piece.
left to cool completely and then kept in an air-tight container, these things absorb moisture very easily.
